Ways to be Involved

Co-create the path forward

Improving Indigenous Healthcare Pathways Together

We are building an ecosystem of collaborators who want to contribute their knowledge, relationships, expertise, and perspective to improving how Indigenous people experience health journeys.

Involvement is flexible, relational, and grounded in reciprocity and respect.

Share Your Voice & Experience

Your story matters — whether shared openly, privately, or anonymously. This space exists to honour lived experience, uplift community knowledge, and ensure Indigenous voices help shape what comes next. Participation is always your choice, and you are welcome to share only what feels right.

You might consider sharing if:

  • You are an Indigenous person who has lived with cancer, lost someone to cancer, or supported a loved one going through cancer.
  • You have experienced times where you felt unseen or unsupported navigating the healthcare system.
  • You wish there had been culturally safe navigation or understanding.

You can share in a simple way:

  • Answer 1 or 2 short questions (below)
  • Write a few words, a sentence, or more about your experience — whatever feels right
  • Stay anonymous if you wish — no name or email is required.
Your answers directly shape this app — helping build something real for others to find support when they need it most

What do you wish was easier during your cancer experience? Patient or caregiver

Were there supports and resources you only found out about after the fact — that you wish you knew about earlier?

What would have helped you feel more supported, understood or guided?

Your voice helps show why this needs to exist.

Other Ways to Be Involved
